Questions
Who signs the entries?
The parish priest, or someone he has authorised. Nobody else can sign an entry they drafted.
What if we find a mistake in a signed entry?
You add a signed correction to the field that was wrong. The original stays, and every certificate printed afterwards shows the correction.
How do you move our paper registers?
Old entries can be typed in from the books, and each one is checked like a new record. Help with moving the registers is agreed with each diocese.
