Your whole diocese, on one screen.
Every parish, priest, letter, return and visit, with what is waiting on you at the top.
Nothing to install and no card. Every name and figure below is sample data.Know what is waiting on you. The overview opens on the decrees to sign, returns to check and extraordinary visitations waiting for a second signature, with every parish counted underneath.
In the console: Home, Analytics, Reports, Calendar

Give one power to one priest.
A priest given a power sees only the pages for it, until the date you set. An episcopal vicar can be kept to chosen deaneries and to the parts of the console you pick. Decrees on a parish priest, extraordinary visitations and staff roles stay with the bishop.

Every act, written down.
The record of changes keeps who signed, co-signed or opened what, and when. The diocese can export it as a spreadsheet at any time.

Write to every parish at once. Publish a pastoral letter on the diocese website, then send it to the whole diocese. A letter written by someone else waits for your approval, unless you give that power to someone you choose.
In the console: Letters and decrees, Decrees and circulars, Messages to parishes, Bishop's message, Monthly intention, News

Your monthly intention.
Set the prayer intention for the month and it shows on the diocese website, on parish websites and in the parish app.

Choose who receives a letter.
A letter goes to a chosen group, to clergy and staff, to all the faithful or to everyone. A letter to everyone can wait for a second signature, if the bishop turns that on.

Appointments, by decree. Choose the priest, the parish and the date, give the reason and sign with your own two-step code. The chancellor countersigns with his, unless you choose to sign alone, and the priest has at least ten days' notice.
In the console: Clergy, People in the parishes, Staff and roles, Clergy formation, Adopt a seminarian, Vocations
Who serves where.
Each parish in a deanery with its parish priest, and the parishes still waiting for one.

Clergy formation hours.
Each priest's ongoing formation is counted against the hours the diocese sets for the year, 30 unless you change it.

Yearly returns, from the registers. Each parish's return is filled from the registers it already keeps. You read it, then accept it or send it back with a reason.
In the console: Returns from parishes, Reports, Sacraments across the diocese, Sacrament record search, Annuario export

Find which parish holds a record.
Where the plan includes it, sacrament record search finds the parish that keeps a Baptism or marriage. Each search needs a reason, is recorded with who searched and when, and the parish is told.

The Annuario, exported.
Parishes and clergy go out as a spreadsheet for the yearbook, without retyping.

Visiting the parishes. Plan the Confirmation round with each parish's candidates, keep a record of each parish visitation, and open an extraordinary visitation with a second signature, unless you turn that off.
In the console: Confirmation visits, Oversight, Calendar, Facilities

Parish visitations, ticked off.
Work through the checklist on each visit. The report is kept with that parish's visitation, and every page the visitor opens is logged for the parish priest to see.

Two people for an extraordinary visitation.
An extraordinary visitation opens a parish's records at once, so by default it waits for a second signature from the vicar general or the chancellor, within 24 hours. You can turn that off.

Money across the diocese. The income each parish posts adds up into one figure for the diocese, and special collections show which parishes have sent theirs.
In the console: Money, Special collections, Adopt a seminarian, Facilities

Special collections, parish by parish.
Set a collection, such as Peter's Pence or the seminary, and see which parishes have sent theirs.

Sponsor a seminarian.
Where the plan includes it, parishioners give towards a named seminarian's formation. The public page shows the total raised, not who gave.

Safeguarding and consultations. Safeguarding reports reach your officer, clearances can be asked for and tracked if the diocese turns them on, and you can put questions to the whole diocese.
In the console: Consultations, Safeguarding, Pious societies, Religious institutes

Reports reach your officer.
A safeguarding report filed in a parish console goes to the diocesan officer, and the person who filed it can follow it.

Clearances, seen in time.
Clearances are off until the diocese turns them on. Then the safeguarding page lists those due for renewal in the next 60 days, and when one lapses, that person's work with children is suspended until it is renewed.

Bring every parish in. The diocese can add a parish that is not on EcclesiaOne yet, or adopt a parish that is and pay for it. Nothing waits on the parish to accept an offer.
In the console: Parishes, Deaneries, Website, Media library

Deaneries, one at a time.
Group parishes into deaneries. A dean or an episcopal vicar can be given only his own.

Religious institutes in the diocese.
Each institute's mother house, superior and houses in the diocese are listed, with its members by house.

The diocese website, built in the console. Set your colours and fonts, switch on the pages you want and publish. The bishop's messages, the calendar and the news update from the console as the chancery works.
In the console: Website, Bishop's message, Calendar, News, Media library, Your own web address

Your colours, your fonts.
Choose the diocese's main colour, fonts and corner style. Every page changes at once.

Your own web address.
Use a domain the diocese owns, on every plan. You buy it from a registrar and renew it each year. Add the records we show you at your DNS host, press Check now, and the site goes live at your address.

A pastoral letter reaches parishioners by in-app message, email, SMS, WhatsApp (once connected) and Push (once connected).
One price for the chancery and every parish.
Or run the chancery alone and let parishes subscribe on their own. A perpetual licence runs on the diocese's own servers, set up with our team, cut off from the EcclesiaOne system.
One price covers the chancery and every parish in the diocese. There is no separate per-parish fee.
Text messages and web address names are not included in the plan price.
Pro for the bishop alone at ₦800k a month, plus Parish Pro at ₦59k a month for each of 86 parishes, comes to about ₦5.9M a month. Whole diocese Pro is ₦2.4M a month, so you save about ₦3.5M a month.
What bishops and chancellors ask us.
No. Start with the chancery and a few parishes. Parishes not on EcclesiaOne yet still appear in your list, and the diocese brings them in one at a time.
The chancery sees what it needs to govern: returns, visitations, assignments and anything sent up to it. A parish's private records, and a priest's pastoral notes, stay with the parish.
Each person gets a role: bishop, vicar general, chancellor, safeguarding officer, finance officer. A decree needs the bishop's own sign-in code, and by default an extraordinary visitation needs a second official to co-sign. The bishop can turn that off.
Old entries can be typed in from the books, and each one is checked like a new record. Help with moving the registers is agreed with each diocese.
EcclesiaOne installs to the home screen like an app and stays light on slow connections. Saving a record needs a connection.
The diocese controls its records, and each person keeps their own rights over their information. Staff can export people, accounts and the record of changes as spreadsheets. A perpetual licence runs on the diocese's own servers, set up with our team. A copy on your own servers is cut off from the EcclesiaOne system: its parishes are not listed in Find a parish, its certificates cannot be checked at ecclesiaone.com/verify, notes from parishes on EcclesiaOne (a marriage in another diocese, say) do not reach its registers, and online giving through EcclesiaOne, the EcclesiaOne phone app and the AI assistant are not available. New versions and support stop when the included care years end, unless you buy a yearly care plan.
Yes. Every plan can use a web address you own; you buy the name from a registrar. On Pro you can set your own colours, logo and coat of arms.
