Open Get started. You'll answer three short questions, one at a time: who you're setting up, its name, and then you. Already have an account? Use Sign in instead.

Step 1: Who are you setting up?

Choose one.

  • A parish. Free for 14 days, starting now. You don't need a card.
  • A diocese. For the bishop and the chancery. We look at every diocese before it opens.
  • A school or A religious community. These say "Talk to us". Tell us where to write, and our team sets it up with you.
  • I am a parishioner. Find your parish and join it. It's free.

Step 2: Its name

For a parish or a diocese, type the name. For a parishioner, start typing and choose your parish from the list.

If your diocese is already on EcclesiaOne, tap My diocese is already listed. Then find it in the list and claim it, so it isn't added twice.

Step 3: Your details

A parish. Pick your diocese. Not in the list? Tap Get in touch under the list and our team sets it up with you. Then give your name, your email and a password of at least 10 characters. Last, answer Are you the parish priest? If you aren't, give his name and email, and we invite him to confirm.

A diocese. Give your name and office, your email, a password and a short note that helps us see who you are. If the diocese is already listed, you also upload a letter on chancery letterhead and give the chancery's published phone number.

A parishioner. Your email and a password. There's also an optional Have a parish claim code? box. "Finding and claiming your parish" explains it.

A school or a religious community. You go to the contact form to tell us who you are and where to write.

What happens next

A parish.

  1. Confirm your email. We send you a link.
  2. Sign in. Your console opens and your 14-day trial starts. When the 14 days end, choose a plan to carry on. If you don't, the console pauses a week later. Your records are kept.
  3. The parish priest is verified. Your parish stays private until then.

A diocese.

  1. We check who you are. Most checks take a day or two.
  2. We approve your diocese and email you.
  3. You pay only then. You don't need a card before it's approved.

If you claimed a listed diocese, we also check the letter and call the chancery back on its published number before the diocese is yours.

A parishioner.

  1. Confirm your email. We send you a link.
  2. Your parish confirms you, or you use a claim code.
