Why linking matters
Joining a parish gives you an account (an email and a password). Linking connects that account to the record your parish already keeps of you. Once they are linked, your sacraments, your giving and your household show in your account.
Find your parish
Open Find a parish. Type the parish name or the town and tap Search. You can also choose a diocese, or tap Near me to see parishes close to you. Each result opens that parish's own website, with its Mass times.
Join it
- Open Get started and choose I am a parishioner. On a parish's own website, you can tap Join this parish instead.
- Start typing your parish name and choose it from the list.
- Give your email and a password of at least 10 characters.
- Tap Create my account, then open the link we email you to confirm your address.
Your parish then confirms you, or you use a claim code (below).
Use a claim code
A claim code is an 8-character code from your parish office. It links your new account to the record the parish already has of you.
You can enter it while you sign up. On the sign-up form, open Have a parish claim code? and fill in the code, your surname and your given names as the parish has them.
Or do it later. Sign in, open Link your records and enter the code in the box called I have a code from the parish office.
Did the parish office email you a link instead? Open it, give your email and choose a password. That links your record too.
No code?
On Link your records, use I do not have a code. Choose your parish, then give your name, your date of birth and at least three details of your Baptism. We check them against the parish register. The more you give, the better the match.
If your parish isn't listed
Your parish may not be on EcclesiaOne yet. At the bottom of Find a parish, under Is your parish not here?, give the parish name and your email, and tap Tell us. We add it to our list and write to you when it joins.
If you're the parish priest, use Are you the parish priest? Start a free trial on the same page.
Wrong email on file
If the parish has an old email address for you, ask the parish secretary to update your record. Then the link or code will work.
A short tour starts the first time you open your parish home. The "Take the tour" button in the corner plays it again.
