My dear people,

(Draft for the Archbishop.) At Christmas we celebrate that God has come to live among us. Thank the parishes for the year: the new families, the children baptised, the young people confirmed.

Remember the families still rebuilding after the floods, and the priests who will celebrate Christmas far from home.

A happy and holy Christmas to you all.
